May is bladder cancer awareness month. According to the National Cancer Institute in 2019 there will be more than 80,000 new bladder cancer cases.
The most common symptom of bladder cancer is having blood in your urine. If you have had blood in your urine it is very important for you to report it to your urologist or primary care doctor so they can set up a proper evaluation.
